Born, raised, and currently based in Texas, Cam Hoffman is a Director of Photography with a driving passion for adventure and a knack for storytelling. At 24, Cam has accrued experience in the commercial, travel, automotive, and directing world. All of his work clearly portrays his attention to detail and eye for authenticity and creativity. 

 

Growing up in a Medical/Military based family, I figured I was bound to follow in these footsteps. My entire life I was fortunate enough to be told that I could be whatever I so desired, I just never knew what that thing was. I began studying to be an optometrist until I was inspired by a video made by Sam Kolder. He showed me how life was supposed to be lived and taught me to never give up on something that deeply made me tick. With time, I came to realize that "thing" was storytelling. The older I got, the quicker I realized how similar everyone was to one another. I knew I couldn't fall so simply into society's norms, so I took a chance. After one trip to Hawaii with a group of photographers, I learned to love a pure moment at its core and I knew what was meant to be done with my life. Telling stories that inspire people around the world to take a chance and find their itch in life.

 

My goal through Camroho Media is to evoke emotion from the people who show desire in my work and spread as much love and positivity to those who need it most. I've met people around the world, experienced countless cultures, and have put numerous smiles on people's faces. It makes it all worth it to capture and share a moment at its purest from a different perspective.
